and how many sice the tour? 2 - Wasted Years and Heaven Can Wait Its the 1 album they ignore the most. I guarentee they will not play CSIT, Deja Vu, LOTLDR or ATG. They will be lucky to play 3 off that album in my opinion. I hope they prove me wrong. What about SSOASS, NPFTD? what about them? Seventh Son - Can I play with Madness, The Evil That Men do (both boooooring), hopefully Moonchild and Infinite Dreams, they def will play The Clairvoyant and I can only pray for SSOASS. So a minimum of 3 off that album. NPFTD - Tailgunner (maybe), Holy Smoke, BYDTTS both def. Again I pray they play No Prayer, so at least 2 possibly 3 off that album. Theres 6 songs plus a possible 2 or 3 off SIT and the majority will be Powerslave, theres your set list.

I was pointing out how few off SSOASS and NPFTD they play since their tours!

No Prayer, well I must agree thats an album that the band havent revisited since the FOTD tour so yes, you are right. Hey, I hope they play plenty of songs off SIT but I was only referring to that one album and not the others with my original post.

I agree... but was just pointing out that that whole series of albums have been underdone on subsequent tours, not just SIT.

Geez - I thought that new thread tazz made were confirmed dates. I was literally shitting myself! Seventh Son - Can I play with Madness, The Evil That Men do (both boooooring) Again I pray they play No Prayer Even though i doubt they will play songs off of NPFTD i love your suggestion!! And those SSOASS songs do suck balls indeed (well - they're boring now since ive listened to them so much). Also - I really hope they play POM stuff - Revelations, Flight of Icarus, Die with Your Boots On, Troopers - F**king hell i will die from exhaustion by the end of the first gig!! Well lets bring Blaze out to sing The Clairvoyant at each concert and we'll all be happy. That would be awesome!!!!!! (no sarcasm here either!!)

So does this mean they wont play RRTH, NOTB and Trooper? Half the people there will be there for the first "early days" setlist - surely they can do a couple of those older ones? They better F**king play Hallowed!

They better F***ing play Hallowed! Well if they stick to the theory like the last tour then yes that's what it means. In case you have forgotten they got a lot of heat from some fans for only playing tracks off the first 4 albums on the Early Days tour so this would be no different... Time will tell.

Yeh the thing though with Early Days part 1 is that they didnt have that problem. Arguably, their first four albums is what they are best known for (from people ive talked to, they pretty much only know the Number of the beast album), so, I'm just wondering whether they won't play 2-3 from that album. I just want hallowed and would love to hear Phantom live too - but i doubt it would happen. Heres hoping!!

Time will tell. depends if they include Live After Death as one of the albums for this tour. If they do you can bet your bottom dollar that Beast , hallowed trooper Iron Maiden( would be played regardless ) and possibly RTTH will be played - which only leaves around 11 to 13 songs from powerslave , Sit 7th son and no prayer. My guess' for selection ( if the above songs are selected ) will be Powerslave - aces High, Mariner , 2 minutes to midnight, powerslave Sit - Wasted Years , Heaven can wait, stranger 7th Son - Evil that men do , clairvoyant and madness no prayer - tailgunner bydtt slaghter Not my ideal set list but if its on my home soil I really dont give a flying F**k. One other thing i just remembered - I remember hearing Nicko say that for him to play a gig hallowed be thy name MUST be in the set list - dont know if it was a joke or not .

A lot of people wanted to hear tracks other than JUST from the first 4 albums. Maiden has a whole new fan base even from the 90's onwards etc..

Alot of the people ive talked to man - seem to only know the early stuff - but then again they aren't like us and listen to every album and try to follow the band around the world etc. these people are just randoms who i see in a liquor shop or randoms i see at footy games and we happen to get onto music subjects. Then again, most of these people probably wouldnt even come to a maiden gig lol. Im not talking about people that actually goto modern gigs wearing maiden shirts, they'd know their shit!
