OK - here is a clean thread to list all rumours on the rumoured 2008 tour.
So what do we know so far?
1. Bruce has confirmed on his radio show that Iron Maiden will tour Australia early 2008.
2. Bruce and Steve reportedly told fans after Brixton show that there will be an Australian tour.
Please continue to post all rumours/comments on tour here. If/when a tour is formally confirmed then we will open a new thread.

Now for those jumping the gun... I was reading the forums on phone early and clicked on the wrong link - it gave me no option, just gone with no 2nd chance. Get over it and continue the discussions!

Didnt Bruce say we would be able to talk to HIM in melbourne next year? Not Maiden, just HIM. So maybe he's just taking a holiday, you never know.

AMF - there are no logs - if its gone its gone forever. ( i think this was asked in a different thread to here ) Tazz - If I could change the button layout I would - Im not too happy with it either. Even though the thread was 19 pages long there really wasnt much in it besides the rumours which are at the top of this page along with one lot of people getting all excited and another lot of people being pessimistic about - no great loss as far as I am concerned - if it was the spam art thread that would be a different story !

But bruce said *WE* are coming, so hang tight! yep skrabs no probs we all make mistakes!

From Maidenfans In an interview with Swedish newspaper Expressen, Nicko McBrain says that Iron Maiden's next world tour will start in January next year, with a mention of a show at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden, at some point during the summer.

Probably a dumb question I know but this next world tour is DEFINITELY gunna be The early Days part 2, right? There's been no mention of a new album coming out any time soon yet, has there? Bit too soon for that aye.

I'm a bit disappointed but oh well!
Tazz can you edit the first post to say that this thread was formally 19 pages long? Just to give newcomers or guests some idea of previous work.
"we" are coming, not just Bruce!!

Bit too soon for that aye. I don't know if they have officially mentioned the name of the tour, if it will be Early Days pt 2 or some other new title, but yes it is the next bit of the sequence and there will be the new release at some point but nobody knows when or what it will feature. Their producer said he remastered LAD with a surround mix so that is probably a good guess of one part of the next pack.

TAZZ,
FFS What did you do to the thread!!!!! Just joking dude this is better anyway all the rumours and comments on 1 page instead of 19 the only thing you forgot was the BBQ at the Yarra or Parra on the Yarra i think someone called it.
And yeah not sure who said it but you ar correct it will be Early days Part 2 no new album i think that is being worked on in 2009 (if they are still together) But the EDPt 2 will be of Peace of Mind, Powerslave, Somewhere & 7 Son what an awesome set list we could have

Bit too soon for that aye. during the donnington show this year Bruce mentioned that they have pimped out the world slavery tour stage set and that they will be singing songs about albatross' so it would be safe to say that it will be the tour for the next history of Iron Maiden installment.
