Well im not saying its the best album, in terms of the songs (yet) - but so far it is bloody awesome. The actual sound, the production values.... awesome. It seems Maiden have finally been able to capture their sound in its truest form.  |

Dave i agree with you. I reckon Differnt World sounds so much better at good quality! Im nearly finished with These Colours Dont Run, listening to the album in order. The track is definately... a bit different, but i can see similarities to. It seems a bit lighter than what im used to with maiden, atleast this track (im talking about These Colours Don't Run)
And it doesn't bother me listening to the album downloaded off the net, i know i will buy it on saturday.

The track is definately... a bit different, but i can see similarities to. Im now listening to the last track - The Legacy - its very Led Zep! And I mean that in a good way... hey Stormster - wait till you get to Longest Day, Out of the Shadows, For the Greater Good of God and Lord of Light. This album has NO filler. NONE. |

Ok, im half way through Lord of Light, and i dunno. This album, has its moments, but it is definately lacking something for me, doesn't have that killer punch, and at times is boring.

These Colors Dont Run is an average track at best, typical modern Harris penned track. Its one of the best on this album. The best tune for me on this album is the intro and outro to THE PILGRIM. Best song overall would have to be THE PILGRIM or DIFFERENT WORLD. But in saying this ive only listened to the album once but listened to those 2 songs like 5 times so it could easily change and probably isnt a good review. Im cranking the new album as loud as my computer lets me (which is loud!) since im home alone. |

Yeh man, i like the Blaze Era, so very true. Mate, i just cant contain ym excitement, i need to go for a jog, but i have been cranking the album for the last half hour and cant get away from air guitaring and afro moshing! Definately is better when its cranked up. But now its time for me to leave, be back in around an hour, hopefully no one is home then so i can crank it some more. |
