I just dont get what people see in SiT. Title track, stranger, lonliness and dejavu are good tracks - CSiT and Stranger are excellent, but the rest are pretty average IMO. Alexander used to be one of my favourite songs but htese days it does nothing but bore me. The only album that I havent gone thru the cycle of liking then being bored with is 7th son and with with the exceptions of sit and vxi Ive eventually started liking the albums again. Time will tell with SiT whether I get into it again. hm well to be honest..I love SIT as you know and give me that over AMOLAD anyday sorry just listened to it over again. what is so great that your all bragging about here. I think its flat and no Oomph like old Maiden...ah bring back the oldies any day even DOD I enjoy more than AMOLAD yeah go on kick me now haha i think thats fair enough, i can understand why people would find it bland compared to albums like SIT although i dont think that at all, but personally i still think its one of the best albums maiden have ever done. the music is so powerful, and i can just imagine how much stronger this would be live. and i think that Bruce's vocals are better than on DoD as well, theres more emotion in his voice on this album.

AMOLAD ... two words - boring, flat! What is this crap they are releasing now? It's not even metal and the album should come with an EQ included so you can get this album to sound anything other than FLAT! Who does the producing these days? They have no friggin' idea. Most albums, the music hits you in the face and sounds alive. Maiden these days sound like it is being played through a wet blanket. It's not the worst album I've heard but it's nowhere near the best either. And before anyone get's narky, it's my opinion and you can have yours!
Ciao ...

Yup, his voice is much better on this album, he hasn't sounded this good in ages.

I still reckon SiT is the best! Nothing is wrong with AMOLAD although it sometimes lacks that kick in the ass that just made you feel like you were flying... like instrumental sections in SiT did. Look at TLOTLDR - towards the end, it just keeps building at getting more interesting. Yet it always is pumping a strong beat and ass kicking bass behind it, that just carry it on, with something like Different worlds, it seems to drag a little rather than push on. Both are great though.

Peoples opinions of the new album will no way influence who wins the comp - winners names will literally be drawn out of a hat - an Iron Maiden hat!
