Peoples opinions of the new album will no way influence who wins the comp - winners names will literally be drawn out of a hat - an Iron Maiden hat! Absolutey and Thank you.  Just cuz some people don't jump on the band wagon so to speak and follow everyone else's opinions on the album does not mean we are outsiders..hell I been a Maiden fan for many many years..its just this one does not cut it for me like the others did  But it isn't a matter of jumping on a bandwagon.. if I didn't like it I would say so... just see Virtual XI comments for instance... not everything they do is golden... but this is in my personal opinion.  |

I thought the sound was good... but as they haven't mastered it the low volume level is noticable... you have to play this at a higher volume setting than most other albums... but on my system with a bit of volume I thought it sounded great...

yeah the album really is something different when its up loud. i thought benny breeg was kinda boring at first... but then i turned it up to some serious volume and i loved it!

Everyone saw my opinions at first. After 1 or 2 listens i thought the album was piss poor. No shit, i have listened to it around 50-60 times now since its release, and its F**kING AWESOME. I just wished the chorus in Different World was better and some of the slower intros in sogns were shorter. This isn't a BNW but far out its close!

It's definitely a grower.... people should give it a few listens and let it become familiar... then they will probably know if they really love it or hate it..

The electronic billboard out the front, displays 'IRON MAIDEN December 22 - 23rd' every now and then It gets me so amped when I see it  Roll on I say |

I've been listening to it all week and i think it's fantastic.
Usually on every maiden album there is maybe 1 or 2 songs that just don't connect with me but on AMOLAD i'm lovin it all.
I wouldn't say at the moment it's better than anything from 80/88 but it's the best since 7th Son.

Like on DoD....I tend to skip over Gates of Tomorrow and New Frontier.....they're not bad songs....just I get anxious to hear Paschendale.. |
