Cheers for the words of support there, guys! All I can say is we're doing our best and we'll just have to wait and see what the promoter decides.  Anything we can do to further your case? why dont you threaten to show them Pinkys pepperoni if they dont pick LORD. |

Oh my LORD. So Bruce wasn't asked by 'Haughie' who will open in Oz? The interview was 2 weeks ago, so I guess he couldn't say anything at the time since it was still under wraps. Alot of people on the Iron Maiden forums agree that an Australian band should open for Maiden, alot of people have been quoting LORD and Dungeon and alot of them are praising the fact that they'd be an excellent match. Hopefully when Bruce comes back from holidays tomorrow he'll read my e-mail and think about the idea. |

There likely won't be any announcement until much later in the year, even as late as January 2008.
When Dungeon got the Megadeth support, we knew about it earlier than you guys did, obviously, but it wasn't MUCH earlier. A lot of these decisions are left until really late in the scheme of things unless a specific band has been offered early on (ie: before the tour has even been announced).

^Sounds like you know alot You're always paranoid thats other know more than you lol!!! LT did keep Gamma Ray under wraps for quite a while so dont believe a things he says lol. I seriously hope they get the support spot. Would Mav fly back over to do the shows? That would seriously be something incredible, and if I were Mav and had to money to come back, I would seriously consider it!! |

Nah, we'll use whoever is playing guitar for us at the time. I REALLY miss Mav and wish he was still part of it, but it would be disrespectful to whoever we have in the band now to have him wander in and do the show, and kind of cheapen the "last gig ever" eBay packs we just had up too. And yeah, I did keep Gamma Ray (and Queensryche) well under wraps for a while, but I had to - that's tour protocol and nothing will get you kicked off a major tour faster than not being able to keep your big mouth shut... |
