Ok I went to afew places in Frankston and they didn't really have what I wanted. Most, if not all the stuff had frizzly crap on it and was to thin. I could just use some old cloth and double it over since acrylic paint isn't to oil based and wont smear all over the fabric.
I wont have much time this week to do anything due to work and my mate is going to Indonesia to see his missus and I want to see him off.
Im thinking if we make some stencils, then we can use spray paint and go over them and that would be alot quicker and easier then waiting for acrylic paint to dry or worrying about what fabric we use since spray paint is cheap and effective and doesn't make to much of a mess.
I have some spare spray cans lying around so I can use them, I have my studio back so I can make some stencils aswell. I reckon this will be alot easier and quicker, plus the banner will weigh nothing with spray paint on it.
So, I have cloth, spray paint, and the fonts needed for the text. All I need now is the design of Eddie.
We should have a vote on a good design then akalilith can give us a quick sketch of it and if we all agree i'll print it up and cut the necessary area to make a stencil.

That's great BTG thanks for your help and support. Everyones input is welcome of course I just thought skrabs was designing the banner for BDU I got lost.  So its going to be one huge banner or bannerS?  |

So its going to be one huge banner or bannerS? Oh is skrabs making it? lol! I seriously don't mind who makes it. Mr. skrabs can make it if he wishes, I dont mind at all. I'll still make one anyway for the meet up and hang it from the beer garden so people know where to go for the meet up. Aside from that skrabs can make the offical BDU banner.  Cheers, |

I said I wasn't sure who was making the BDU banner If skrabs or others or myself made one also, the more the merrier, couldn't care less as long as we all have one to hang LOUD AND PROUD |

Ok, I'll make the banner for the meet up.  I'm more then happy to do that. It wont be to big, just big enough to read from the roof of the Corner Hotel. |

Great idea!
I'm planning to get flag printed also. I have no idea yet what to put there or which Eddie. But main thing is that it's going to have Finnish flag and Australian flag in it (Maybe Union Jack too?). Have to start thinking if there would be small piece of some song that I can change something Finland relative in there.
