Dave Mustaine says:" Droogies!
Thank you for another [glow=red,2,300]Top Ten Record in America[/glow]. Yes, [glow=red,2,300]United Abominations [/glow]debut at number 8 on the Billboard Top 200, thank to all of our hard work; the band, all of the representation, and especially you - the fans.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We also are Top 5 in Canada, and have debuted very respectably on numerous International charts (and in some countries, it is the highest chart entry ever!!!).

Washington Is Next is shit. . You are kidding! I suppose theres a reason why u support QLD and the Roosters!! Yeah, loyalty! I just think Washington Is Next is shit. Unlike yourself i love the first 4 albums but they lost me in the 90's when they went pop metal. United Abominations is the first Megadeth album i've bought since Youthanasia, it has elements i love but it also has the side of them i loathe. Still a kick arse band

Yeh, i love the high pitch tune in Washington, followed by the heavy tune, its just so awesome. Alot of the other songs on the album are a bit boring for me, and dont have a mixture of the two. I dislike the first three lol, Rust rocks.

I actually personally rate it as one of their best, but agree with you on the first 4.

my son and i went to a signing at venue music (guitar shop located near QVB)as i thought this would be our only chance to see these legends due to concert selling out.damon my son meets the guys first, dressed in his patched denim vest, james mcdonaugh starts talking to him and asks if were going .damon responds we missed out.well while im trying to sound normal in front of DAVE MUISTAINE damon, james mcD and tour manager inform me of our lucky break.to this day i pretty much will defend megadeth and dave for their kind actions, other than some musical decisions.seen them 91,2001,2005(obviously),2006 gigantour these guys have kicked ass live everytime

Great band live and agree with you whole heartedly. I think Countdown for me is almost a guilty pleasure. i know its a departure from the Megadeth we knew and loved in the 1st four albums but I think it has some great tunes on there - like you said solid album. Ashes In Your Mouth is just pure class.
