This news sucks. I liked this guy on guitar. I don't really care for megadeth anymore. They release below-par albums, they play musical chairs with band members, its not really even a band anymore. Every album theres a new member or two, it should just be called Dave Mustaine and thats it.

understand your frustration at constant member changes,do agree with the below par album releases issue but i will say this, for very below par releases of albums prime example of this is his former band who have not released a solid metal album since 88.

For me, each year the performance has gone down a bit. And regards to your point axes, I gave up on Metallica ages ago. Its F**ked, i can't believe the awesome stuff they did during the 80, even some of the 90s was good, but lately its just shit.

I dont know...I quite liked United Abominations. It was probably one of my most played albums of 2007.
I thought that was a return to form after ome very average releases up to that point.

dont give up on them yet,if it is BRODERICK that replaces drover it may spark a new fire in the band.it appears drover left for solid reasons concerning family, not the usuall "we dont see eye to eye on musical terms"scenario.at least this band try to stay close to thier metal roots unlike that OTHER band

I must admit, i liked the last two albums, but what im noticing is that im liking megadeth in gngeral, the albums, the live performances, the musical chairs with band members, i think they're slowly losing it. Actually they've lost it and are trying to regain iot i think but yeh. They're good, but no longer one of my favourite bands.

Yeah I think UA is much better than the system has failed and they're 2 of the better albums for bands who were big in the 80s - It eats up metallica and AMOLAD for comparison, beats ozzy's latest album... others i can't remember.

I bet a steak dinner it isnt anywhere near as good as the last Anthrax studio album.
