Load is horrible, one of the dullest albums i've ever heard. Reload was worse. They really lost me in the 90's, but St Anger bought me back. At least Lars was using his double kick again. Double saucepan  |

I love Load, I reckon it's a great album. There's heaps of good tracks on it. I think it's just generally hated because it's more rock and less metal than their usual material.
Reload was pretty crap though, Fuel is a top song but other than that it wasn't too good.

I listened to Re load today whilst doing a sport training session and I enjoyed Fuel, Devils Dance,better than you, its better than listening to emo music whilst training especially the stuff they put on at the gym/studio haha  Mitch I agree with Load some are good,we can't always love the full album look at AMOLAD ok lets go even go there haha  |

Nah i agree with besh, Take the best of Load and Reload and you'd have one awesome album i reckon, different to their 80s stuff but still awesome.

If I want something faster and heavier, I'll go to their 80s stuff. If I want something a little more melodic, those two albums in the mid 90s are great. Bands have to change, if not for their own sanity, these guys are artists and artists love/have to explore with different styles, moods to change it up and experience something different. I think as a fan, I prefer change over years of the same old stuff. |
