You Sydney people...give us the straight shoot.... What's King's Cross REALLY like? A lot of places on the netski I been lookin at are sayin it's the nightlife partay place to be. Is it? I know it's a bit of a ways to Homebush from there but would it be a good place for a drinky filled meetup? |

I know it's a bit of a ways to Homebush from there but would it be a good place for a drinky filled meetup? kings cross is a great place if you like being around addicts , prostitutes and where every second establishment is either a brothel or a strip club. I used to go to music clubs there years ago and felt safe but nowadays those clubs are gone and I wouldnt walk around there in a group during the day. |

paddington , which is next to kings cross got cleaned up, but that was probably due to the fact that it is almost exclusively inhabited by gays. the cross is still dingy and sleazy ,but if thats your thing stay there.
i personally dont like areas where the fast food joints dont have toilets cos theyre sick of junkies using them to shoot up in.

One of the biggest shit tips in Melbourne 10-15 years ago.....now beginning to be worth a fortune. Best move I ever made coming out here. Only 9 km from the city and nice period homes...much like Footscray, another suburb worth a small fortune now from out of nowhere. |
