Since Pentridge got closed down the whole area boomed.

Yep, but I grew up around Preston area.... lived in Watsonia, Heidleberg, Preston, Thornbury..... back when it was all bogan country. Still have family out Greensborough, Reservor, Macleod way and mum lives in Northcote
Essendon's bloody not cheap either. House across the road went for somethin like $786,000 a few years ago at Auction. We've probably got the cheapest rent here in the whole suburb.

I will be staying with a mate at Brighton Le Sands (or Brighton Le Wog) as he calls it. Anyone else live/staying near that area, its not far from the venue i dont think, its only 10 mins from Hordern Pavillion anyway.

haha yeah just playin. But on a serious note... How far is it to drive from Brighton to the ACER? or would i be better off driven straight to Acer (coming from Goulburn on The hume) then back to Brighton after the show??? or..........drive back to lovely goulburn
