Why should they keep their titles, they cheated, not fair to all the other teams, especially Manly and Parra. And surely the players knew, what does Cameron Smith declare in his tax return? All i know is i'd hate to be a Storm supporter at the moment, they cheated you guys most of all Just wish i threw a grand on Melbourne being wooden spooners this year

Stormy , I hate to disagree with you, but if they hadnt rorted the cap the chances are they would have had a different playing roster which means there is a chance they wouldnt have gone as well as they did. Fair call to stip the title in my opinion. Bellamy is a great coach and Im saure he will coach a legal side all the way in the next few seasons.

Geez, and honest reply from Skrabs lol, few and far between. In the end the players who fought hard for the premiership got F**ked over by adminstrators. No points for the rest of the year is F**ked tho They say they support a team in Melbourne, then they do that. I reckon we shudnt be able to play for points until we are under the salary cap (release a few players by paying out their contracts).

I reckon we shudnt be able to play for points until we are under the salary cap (release a few players by paying out their contracts). i think they sghould be able to accrue points once they are under the cap . But your right stormy, the players have been F**ked over by the administration of the club and Im sure every player that pulled on a storm jersey for a grand final would have given 150% but in saying that , the team would not have been the same if the cap hadnt been breached. Stripping the titles and the fines are fair calls. stripping ther comp points is a fair punishment aswell, but once they can prove that the 25 man roster is under the cap they shouldnt be allowed to. Releasing players isnt all that has to happen remember - for each player in their top 25 squad that is released they have to replace him with another player( they have to maintain the 25 man squad ) so if they release Slater for arguments sake , they will reduce their spend for the season by 500k - they would then need replace him with a player whose minimum wage as to be 55k so in total they are only reducing the over spending by 445k - still around 255k to shed. they wont get rid of any of their stars, it will be guys like Bryan Norrie who will be let go. they will get this sorted out soon enough and Bellamy will get a new crop of QLD cup/nsw cup players and mould them into a lethal side . Pity he hasnt been able to do this with NSW !

Theres no way we can keep Slater/Cooper/Cronk/Smith. Thats half our cap lol.... Who knows. It's a really hard issue. There's no good outcome for anybody, no mater what decision is made.

Jarrod Sammut plays for the Celtic Crusaders. Why was he let go? I thought he was a good player. He was the best on field in the match i just watched, yet he also did so many dumb freakin' errors such as not catching the ball on the full and offloading at every opportunity.
On a side note, was looking into origin tickets. It will cost me $80 to go to both origin 1 and 3 in sydney, but thats sitting pretty nmuch directly behind the post. Thats alot of money considering i cant even see whats happening past the halfway line.

He is going pretty well for the crusaders, bit letting him go frees up some coin so we can buy Inglis for next year I suppose !

As long as we keep cronk and smith im content. Slater is a good fullback but there are many good fullbacks in our game. Inglis is tops but i put more worth on Smith and Cronk

Inglis is tops but i put more worth on Smith and Cronk so you should - slater , cronk and smith are the spine of your team. in saying that , Id love a panthers side that included inglis, jennings, lewis waterhouse and petero - I think Im getting a little hard just thinking about it. BTW - how F**king good is laclan coote going this year! easily the form fullback of the comp - little F**king champion. Blues side is released tomorrow night - it feels like christmas eve!

TBH - although I have been watching alot of footy this year (around 2/3 of the games), the panthers and sharks are probably the least of my watched teams, along with the warriors. I've heard he's going good, and i think he was in city/country. I'll be eagerly awaiting the announcement of both squads.

I'll never go for QLD but how long does it take for the current bunch of selectors to be sacked! We will lose game one and then pick a better side for game 2, like every year

This is the team that needs to be selected
1 - Hayne 2 - Morris 3 - Morris 4 - Lyon 5 - Michael Gordon 6 - Barret 7 - Kimmorley 8 - Weyman 9 - Ennis 10 - Snowden 11 - Waterhouse 12 - Gallen 13 - Lewis
14 - Bird 15 - TLL 16 - Watmough 17 - White
We will win at Lang Park with this team - pity our selctors ( and that includes the coach ) are useless and will persist with that F**kwit Gidley.
