1. HAHA can't wait for beetle to see your SSOASS comment... 2. I can't remember... which shows are you going to in Dec?  Not to mention Skrabs......he loves his SSOASS.... But I know he is just a closet SIT lover  I rate the x factor higher than SiT. Its a sad state of affairs when the best thing about an album is the artwork. |

I rate the x factor higher than SiT. Its a sad state of affairs when the best thing about an album is the artwork. You have got to be kidding me! SIT has awesome guitar harmonies... Sea of Madness... Heaven Can Wait... Stranger in a Strange Land... and ALEXANDER THE GREAT!! X Factor is POX! out of the 4 tracks listed only 1 doesnt bore the living shite out of me. Out of every Maiden album this is the only one where i like less than half the songs on it . |

Not even in the same league... the legacy is awesome... the tracks on Virtual XI are just lame... I have listened to maiden for 20 years and love most of their stuff... but I just CAN'T get into Virtual XI... it is flat and dull...

Actually....I have to agree with that.....sorta LOL  Although I haven't heard much of the Blaze era stuff, if songs such as Clansman and Sign of the Cross are anything to go by as being the norm, I'd say Stormster absolutely has a good point there. I still hate Blaze's voice though. sucked big time  |

I still hate Blaze's voice though. sucked big time Its not the norm - theyre stand outs. Whats missing from VXI is love - there isnt any love in the album, its as though they went in to make an album because they had to not because they wanted to. Id guess that Blaze had a contract for 2 studio albums so it was a means to an end. Dont get me wrong - I like Blazes voice did so before he weas in maiden but as good a singer as i think he is , he was the wrong choice for Maiden. |
