I'm assuming because there's the Front Of The Barrier prize draw that there will be a GA section.
It's not as if they can sell tickets to someone in the first row then later on say "uhh sorry, we've just allocated your seat to someone else in our prize draw you'll now be moved 3 rows back" or something like that LOL

Anwar, I think you're underestimating the price. Heaven and Hell was $150 man. I reckon maiden will be thereabouts. Also, how are all of you sure there will be a general admission section? Heaven and Hell was ALL seated!!! Fine, Not many in A reserve sat down, but, it was SOLD as SEATING. So yeah, there might not even be a General Admission section so to speak. My point here is, if it is seating right in front of the stage, then there will be even less opportunity for us to get tickets. Think about it, you can fit more people into an area if they are standing rather than if they are sitting. Hopefully it's GA, I'm with you guys. Also, I think all of you are overreacting. I doubt this gig will sell out as quick as alot of you think. If tickets are General Admission, who cares about how quickly you get tickets? As long as you get a GA ticket, then its all good. How close you get to the front will depend on how early you line up on the day, but more so if you win that "first to the barrier" thing advertised if you're an IMOC or IMFC member. Thats the only reason i signed up to IMOC, not for advanced tickets. Tickets would never sellout on pre-sales, due to the fact that tickets are limited. The only reason i signed up was to be first to the barrier, MAYBE meeting the band in the venue before. F***, im excited!! Haha!! I know dude, I was overracting at the start cos I thought i'd miss out. But as I stated before I dont think this show will sell out in the first day, or first week for that matter. I only joined the fanclub so I could get that front row thing aswell, cos I hate rocking up early as, and then someone still finds a way to push me back into the 3rd or 4th row, it's not bad but I would like to go to a gig where I can spend atleast half the show up the front...more cos of Maiden and I know how hard it is to get up the front at a Maiden gig. And about the prices, im just guessing. I really dont care how much they are, cos i'll still go if there $200 . But lets hope they dont reach that high. lol! I just jumped the gun abit cos Im really excited about the shows.  |

Just to clarify, I just got off the phone with Ticketek, we are allowed to buy what ever ticket we want, but as a guideline with seating it will be random. This doesn't bother me cos i'll be in general admission. Woohoo!! The lady said the information of the seating will be released tomorrow so if anyone wants to give them a ring tomorrow they can, she also mentioned that the ticket prices should be up by Monday next week. I assume the most we'll pay is $120, but dont hold me on that. Why do you assume $120? |

as long as the seats are good not crap ones who'll be sitting down  No one sits in the seat... but you want a good seat location to stand in! Not everyone wants on the floor. |

^Dunno Moz I see both, am guessing it will disappear soon Regarding [glow=red,2,300]ONLINE TICKET SALES [/glow] I have a concern, when Metallica was on sale irregardless of pre sale or not, the Ticket site absolutely crashed within minutes if not secs of logging in, I could not at all purchase tickets and had to ring up instead therefore lost out on front seats or seated, but put up with barrier standing position and was pulled out from the crush mind u at that, So I rang up 10-15 mins later on the phone and ordered tickets that way instead, to which at that stage 15-20 mins later, Tickets for all seating had SOLD OUT! Lets pray this does not happen! |
